The first episode of the series left off where it began on NCIS. NCIS Los Angeles is the first spin off of NCIS, which was a spin off of the popular show JAG.

The main characters are Chris O’Donnell who plays Callen–an agent who has a natural talent for undercover operations.LL Cool J plays special agent Sam Hanna who is an ex-Navy seal who now works as an undercover agent. Pauley Perrette who plays Abby in NCIS will have a guest appearance in the second episode of the new series.
